Safety Rules

Safety is our highest priority. These rules exist to protect all members and ensure a safe rowing environment.

  • Swimming Ability - All rowers must be able to swim 50 yards and tread water for 5 minutes
  • PFD Requirements - Mandatory when water temperature is below 60°F
  • Flip Test - Required for all single scullers
  • Buddy System - Required during early morning or evening hours
